Georgetown, Guyana — In a bid to enhance dialysis services in Guyana, Biomed Energy and Dialysis Inc., in partnership with Nipro Europe Group Company, launched a specialized training program for nurses to operate dialysis machines effectively.
The program, initiated by Olive Sinclair, a registered nurse and CEO of Biomed Energy and Dialysis Inc., aims to train 35 nurses in managing dialysis procedures.
This initiative is designed to improve local capacity in dialysis care by equipping nurses with necessary operational skills.
The training will be delivered virtually over four months, after which participants will earn certifications qualifying them as certified dialysis nurses.
This program is expected to provide Guyanese healthcare facilities with better-prepared personnel, ultimately elevating the quality of dialysis services available to patients across the country.
