By Josiah Williams | October 1, 2024

Ahead of the upcoming International Business Conference (IBC) scheduled for October 15-17, organizers have launched a new app aimed at facilitating business connectivity and information sharing among attendees and the general public.

The IBC 2024 App offers features designed to enable businesses to network, share information, and arrange meetings efficiently.

Dr. Vishnu Doerga, Chairman of the Suriname-Guyana Chamber of Commerce and CEO of ActionINVEST Caribbean Inc., shared that the number of delegates already exceeds initial expectations, underscoring the high demand for streamlined business connections.

The app will be accessible to both conference delegates and members of the public interested in conference events.

During the launch, Surinamese Ambassador to Guyana, Liselle Blankendal, announced that IBC Suriname is set for February 4-6, 2025, extending an invitation to global businesses, investors, and organizations to participate in the event.

The IBC, hosted by the Suriname-Guyana Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association (GMSA), with support from GoInvest and the Suriname Investment and Trade Agency, aims to strengthen regional and international business ties.

The event will also feature the launch of the latest Who’s Who in Guyana magazine, highlighting prominent local and regional enterprises.

The International Business Conference is expected to provide a unique platform for fostering economic partnerships and supporting Guyana’s investment and growth ambitions.
