Golden Jaguars Gear Up for Concacaf Clash Against Suriname

By Eric Collymore

National footballer Omari Glasgow is optimistic about the Golden Jaguars’ prospects as they prepare to face Suriname in the Concacaf Nations League, League A, scheduled for September 5.

The match will be held at the National Track and Field Centre, with kick-off set for 16:00.

The 20-year-old Glasgow, who was a standout performer for Guyana in League B with seven goals across five matches, is confident in the team’s readiness and ability to secure a favorable result.

He and his teammates have been intensively training at the Guyana Football Federation’s National Training Centre in anticipation of the clash.

Despite the higher stakes in League A, Glasgow remains unfazed by the pressure, focusing instead on contributing to the team’s collective effort.

He emphasized that the team is in high spirits and fully concentrated on their upcoming challenge.

The Golden Jaguars are poised for what promises to be an exciting match against Suriname, aiming to leverage their strong preparation and team unity to achieve a successful outcome.
