The National Communications Network (NCN) concluded its third annual Budding Broadcasters Summer Camp with a graduation ceremony at its Homestretch Avenue headquarters.
This year’s four-day program saw 32 participants learning about various aspects of broadcasting, including television, radio, and news production.
Minister within the Office of the Prime Minister, Kwame McKoy, congratulated the graduates, urging them to strive for excellence in their future endeavors.
He committed to continuing the program and announced the future formation of a Broadcasters Club to further develop youth talent.
The Minister also addressed requests from parents to extend the program’s duration, indicating that the initiative could be lengthened in future years.
The Budding Broadcasters Program aims to nurture young talent, helping them blossom into professional broadcasters.
