The upcoming International Business Conference is set to enhance investor confidence in Guyana’s economy, largely due to the implementation of the Single Window platform aimed at advancing digitalization.
The conference, which will feature Business-to-Business meetings between international investors and local enterprises, is anticipated to draw significant attention and foster new partnerships.
Dr. Vishnu Doerga, Chairman of the Suriname Guyana Chamber of Commerce (SGCC), emphasized the importance of digitalization for attracting investors.
He noted that while the Single Window platform marks a significant step forward, further digital advancements are necessary to keep pace with Guyana’s rapid development.
The conference, scheduled for October, will host over 500 delegates, including representatives from key government agencies who will address investor queries.
More than 40 local entities are expected to participate, reflecting the growing interest in Guyana’s investment opportunities.
The event will leverage digital tools to facilitate business meetings and interactions, underscoring the role of technology in driving economic growth and international business engagement.
