Kares One Guyana T10 Blast Set to Begin as Organizers Finalize Preparations

Organizers of the Kares One Guyana T10 Blast have confirmed that all preparations are in place for the tournament’s second edition, which kicks off this weekend.

According to John Ramsingh, one of the key organizers, teams are ready for action, with matches set for Saturday and Sunday.

The tournament begins on August 3, with games scheduled at the Queen’s College Ground, Police Sports Club, and Lusignan Community Centre Ground.

Ramsingh noted that ideal weather conditions have supported the groundwork, setting the stage for a smooth start to the competition.

The tournament’s knockout format will feature 32 teams, each vying for the top prize of $1.5 million.

The runners-up will take home $500,000, while the losing semi-finalists will earn $250,000 each.

Ramsingh pointed out that teams have assembled strong squads, making the competition wide open for any side to claim victory.

The Round of 16 will take place on August 4 at the Police Sports Club and Lusignan Community Centre Ground, while the quarterfinals are scheduled for August 11 at the Enmore Community Centre Ground.

The finals and a special Cricket for Charity match will be held on August 25 at the National Stadium, Providence.
