Empowering Berbicians: 50 Graduate from Skills Training Programme

Fifty individuals from Berbice have successfully completed various skills training programs offered by the Humanitarian Mission Guyana Inc. located in Port Mourant, Region 6.

The graduation ceremony, held at the mission’s office in Ankerville, celebrated the achievements of these graduates who completed studies in Cake Decoration, Information Technology, Sewing, and Cosmetology.

The Humanitarian Mission Guyana Inc. aims to empower Guyanese by providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to secure gainful employment.

The completion of the three-month training program marks a significant milestone in the journey of these individuals towards self-sufficiency and economic independence.

During the ceremony, President of the Central Corentyne Chamber of Commerce, Poonai Bhigroog, commended the graduates for their dedication and hard work.

He encouraged them to reflect on the valuable lessons learned during their training and emphasized the importance of creativity, problem-solving, and attention to detail in their future endeavors.
