In an impressive display of skill and talent, Golden Jaguars forward Omari Glasgow has clinched the Top Goal Scorer and Young Player awards at the conclusion of the Concacaf Nations League.
The 20-year-old rising star from Beterverwagting, East Coast Demerara, showcased his prowess by scoring seven goals in five games for Guyana during the 2023-24 Concacaf Nations League League B matches.
His outstanding performance played a significant role in propelling Guyana to the top of the group, consequently securing a promotion to League A.
Despite being unable to attend the presentation ceremony himself, President of the Guyana Football Federation Wayne Forde accepted the awards on behalf of Glasgow.
Currently, Glasgow is with the Golden Jaguars side in Saudi Arabia, participating in the first-ever FIFA Series.
Glasgow expressed his gratitude to his family and teammates, acknowledging their support as crucial to his success on the field.
He emphasized the importance of balance both on and off the field, underscoring the role it plays in achieving success.
