In the boys’ division, Saints Minions showcased their dominance by securing a spot in the finals with a commanding 4-0 victory over Old Fort Gladiators in the semifinals.
Fayed Mohamed played a pivotal role in their victory, contributing significantly to their success.
Their opponents in the final, GCC Pitbulls, earned their place with an impressive 3-0 win over Hicker Hatchets.
Goals from Kristian Viapree, Maxwell Viapree, and Jaleel Bynoe propelled Pitbulls to the championship match.
In a high-octane final showdown, Saints Minions took an early lead with Mohamed netting a brace in the first half.
Although GCC Pitbulls fought back with a goal from Kristian Viapree, Allister Paul and Mohamed secured a 4-1 victory for Minions, clinching the U14 league trophy.
In the girls’ category, Old Fort Divas secured their spot in the final after defeating Saints Sensations 3-1, with Keitanna Percival delivering a standout performance.
Their opponents, Hiker Junior Jets, secured their place in the final with a narrow 1-0 victory over Queen’s College.
The girls’ final proved to be a tightly contested affair, with Trinity Greaves scoring two crucial goals for Hiker Junior Jets.
However, Tinashe Henry and Keitanna Percival’s goals for Old Fort Divas ensured that the match ended in a deadlock after regulation time.
The deadlock led to a thrilling penalty shootout, where Old Fort Divas held their nerve to emerge victorious, clinching the title in a nail-biting finale.
