In an impressive display of skill and determination, Kaylee Lowe clinched the Under-15 title by defeating Emily Fung A Fat with a scoreline of 11-9, 11-5, 9-11, and 11-7.
Lowe expressed her joy and gratitude for the support she received from her family and trainers, emphasizing the significance of her victory after a year of dedicated training.
In other age categories, Ethan Bulkan secured victory in the Under-11 event, while Zion Hickerson emerged victorious in a commanding fashion.
Both winners spoke about their commitment to continuous training and their aspirations to excel in future championships.
The Boys under 17 and 19 categories witnessed intense matches, with Shiloh Asregado and Nicholas Verwey emerging triumphant after thrilling encounters.
Asregado overcame Joshua Verwey in a closely contested match, while Nicholas Verwey showcased resilience to defeat Micheal Alphonso.
The championship continues to provide a platform for young squash talents to showcase their skills and vie for the opportunity to represent Guyana at the upcoming Caribbean championships in June.
