In an effort to tackle the water supply challenges faced by residents of Loo Creek, Soesdyke/Linden Highway, the government distributed water tanks to over 50 households in the community.
The distribution of 1700-litre water tanks comes as a response to the persistent pleas from residents of Loo Creek regarding their ongoing water supply issues.

During the distribution exercise, residents expressed gratitude for the initiative, acknowledging the significant impact it would have on their daily lives.
Valerie Vandecruise-Clarke, one of the beneficiaries, expressed her happiness, emphasizing the relief provided by the larger water tanks compared to her previous small barrel.
Lloyd Sookhoo and Samantha Ramdehall also extended their appreciation to the government for the support rendered to the community.
Aaron Budhan, another resident, thanked President Ali for the assistance and highlighted the practical use of the water tank in addressing the water scarcity issue.
Minister of Public Affairs, Kwame McCoy, underscored the importance of community-government collaboration in addressing local challenges.
He assured residents of Loo Creek of continued support from the government, emphasizing ongoing investments in community development.
