6th Annual South American Undiscovered Martial Arts Championship Set to Return

Preparations are underway for the 6th South American Undiscovered Martial Arts Championship, a premier martial arts competition organized by Korean International Martial Arts Guyana.

Roland Eudoxie, the lead instructor, announced that this year’s tournament is scheduled for March 30-31 and is expected to attract participants from several countries.

Eudoxie shared insights with NCN Sport, expressing the anticipation of having multiple countries involved in the upcoming championship.

He mentioned the introduction of a new category of athletes this year, aiming to expand the competition and make it more family-oriented.

The experienced martial arts instructor emphasized the significance of such competitions for martial artists, providing them with an opportunity to test their skills and assess their growth in the sport.

The event is set to take place at the Cliff Anderson National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue.

The championship will feature various categories, including traditional Kata Forms, Points Sparring, Team Kata, Freestyle, Empty Hand Kata, Weapon Kata, and Team Sparring.

Competitors will have the chance to showcase their talents and compete in different martial arts disciplines.
