RNCF Brings Christmas Joy to Children

The Radio’s Needy Children’s Fund (RNCF) continues its tradition of spreading Christmas cheer by distributing toys and goodies to children.

In a heartwarming event held at the National Communication Network compound on Sunday, children were treated to festive surprises, thanks to the longstanding efforts of the RNCF.

Established in 1954, the RNCF has grown beyond hosting year-end parties, becoming a significant force in supporting families and bringing joy to children during the holiday season.

This year, the initiative reached more than 40 families who received food hampers, while 94 children had their Christmas spirit ignited through the distribution of toys.

Norma Lawrence, a senior member of the RNCF, expressed the excitement of the day and the positive impact of the initiative.

Santa made a special appearance, and dresses were generously donated for all the girls, along with footwear and goodies for their bags.

Lawrence highlighted the joy of being able to contribute to the happiness of the children.

Doris Lewis, the Treasurer of the RNCF, emphasized the importance of volunteers in making these initiatives possible.

She acknowledged the collective effort that goes into bringing smiles to the faces of children during the festive season.

In addition to the annual Christmas event, the RNCF extends its support to families in need throughout the year by providing essential food items on a monthly basis.

The RNCF’s commitment to spreading joy and supporting those in need reflects the spirit of giving that embodies the true essence of the holiday season.
