Vieira Anticipates Fierce Competition at Caribbean Clash of Champions Motor Racing

Veteran racer Mark Vieira is gearing up for an adrenaline-pumping day of racing action as he prepares to join some of the finest talents from across the Caribbean in the Caribbean Clash of Champions motor racing event.

The event is scheduled to take place at the renowned South Dakota circuit on Sunday, November 5.

In an interview conducted prior to his test runs on the track, Vieira, set to make his first appearance of the season, acknowledged the possibility of pre-race nerves.

Nevertheless, he expressed unwavering confidence in his racing prowess.

This year’s culminating event is poised to be the most illustrious Caribbean race event to date, with an impressive roster of champions hailing from the Caribbean, the USA, Canada, and the UK set to compete.

The focal point of the day will be Group 4, dubbed “the Clash of the Titans,” featuring seasoned racers such as Doug “Hollywood” Gore, Mark Maloney from Barbados, Frankly Boodram from Trinidad and Tobago, and a formidable Guyanese contingent comprising Mark Vieira, Andrew King, Vishok Persaud, Kevin Jeffrey, and Denzel Hopkinson.

Looking ahead to the event, Vieira, who also serves as a committee member on the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC), highlighted the organizers’ unwavering commitment to prioritizing safety for both spectators and participants.

A total of 28 races are scheduled for the day, with the first event revving off at 11:00 AM.
