In a powerful initiative to address the pressing issue of suicide among young individuals, secondary school students were treated to an enlightening theatrical production titled “Shadows of Tomorrow” at the National Cultural Centre.

This impactful event was generously funded by the Massy Group of Companies.

The play, masterfully written and directed by Randolph Critchlow, conveyed a profound message of redemption, hope, and unwavering determination, resonating deeply with its youthful audience.

Renata Morgan, a student in attendance, praised the production’s approach, stating, “The way they decided to put across these messages was captivating, it was quick and straight to the point and it informed us well about what we need to know as young students.” Anara Byrne echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the importance of creating a safe space for open dialogue. Ameka Richmond also commended the production, expressing the belief that the message should be widely shared.

Meletia Hossanah, Marketing and Customer Service Manager of Massy Motors, highlighted the significance of the event, noting that this marks the third production of its kind dedicated to suicide awareness.
