Mixed Reactions as Schools Reopen: Education Minister Wishes Success for Students

As schools reopened in Georgetown, both parents and children exhibited a range of emotions, from excitement to nervousness. For some, it marked the first day at a new school, while for all, it meant advancing one grade higher.

Meanwhile, Education Minister Priya Manickchand sent her warmest wishes to the nation’s children, urging them to strive for excellence. In a message posted on her Facebook page, she encouraged students to be punctual, complete assignments in advance, dedicate an hour to revision daily, and, most importantly, to refrain from unkind remarks about their peers.

The Minister pledged to love and work tirelessly for every child, emphasizing her commitment to their success.
