600 Lindeners Receive House Lots in ‘Dreams Realized’ Housing Project

The Ministry of Housing and Water’s Dreams Realized Housing project took a significant step forward as six hundred Linden residents were allocated house lots at Plantation Wismar.

The ceremony was held at the Christiansburg Community Centre Ground, marking an important development for Region Ten.

Sherwyn Greaves, Chief Executive Officer of the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA), spoke about the ongoing growth in the region, mentioning the inclusion of a new playground in the Plantation Wismar area as part of the development plans.

Minister within the Ministry of Housing and Water, Susan Rodrigues, emphasized that Region Ten is one of the top areas for housing interest in the country.

She highlighted the commitment of the President in delivering on promises, ensuring that no excuses are made in meeting timelines.

Minister Collin Croal also addressed the new landowners, stressing the importance of homeownership and the opportunity to develop their own spaces.

He encouraged the new owners to embrace the opportunity and build resilient communities.

Several house lot recipients shared their excitement. Mark Bouyea, the first allottee, expressed his happiness for himself and his family.

Inspector Ronata Liverpool and Shonnette Bobb also shared their gratitude and excitement for the opportunity.

Minister Croal announced that in a week, the CH&PA will return to allocate another 400 house lots in Amelia’s Ward.
