4th Annual Limacol Schools Football League Kicks Off

The highly anticipated Limacol Schools Football League is set to kick off this Sunday at the Ministry of Education Ground. Eight top football schools will compete for the championship over the coming weeks.

Troy Mendonca, co-founder of the Petra organization, emphasized the significance of the league during the launch event.

Troy Peters, Director of Competitions at the Guyana Football Federation, lauded the Petra Organization for their continuous efforts in organizing tournaments, contributing to the growth of the sport.

Franklyn Wilson, Deputy Director of Sport, highlighted the league’s potential in fostering the development of football across the nation.

The action-packed event will begin on Sunday, October 29, featuring matches between Bartica Secondary and defending champions Christianburg, Carmel Secondary and McKenzie, East Ruimveldt and Chases Academy, and Ann’s Grove Secondary against Santa Rosa.

Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 PM.
