The 40th Jalsa Salana of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Guyana concluded with a profound address by Maqsood Ahmed Mansoor at the George Walcott Lecture Theatre.
The convention, aimed at enhancing religious knowledge and fostering unity among community members, featured a theme focused on “Preventing World War Two” and emphasized the critical role of promoting global peace.
Mansoor, the Program Coordinator for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Guyana, underscored the importance of justice in maintaining societal balance and harmony.
In his address, Mansoor addressed the nuanced relationship between peace and justice, stating that without justice, true peace cannot be achieved.
He elaborated on the concept, explaining that justice ensures accountability and fairness, essential for resolving conflicts and maintaining social order.
He highlighted that justice not only protects individual rights but also preserves collective peace by addressing the disturbances caused by wrongdoing.
During the convention, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community also recognized and honored students who graduated from their spiritual classes and successfully completed the NGSA exams, showcasing their commitment to both spiritual education and academic excellence.
The 40th Jalsa Salana served as a platform for spiritual growth, communal harmony, and reflection on global issues, reaffirming the community’s dedication to peace, justice, and unity.
