150 Women Graduate from Road to Growth Programme

Some 150 women in business have successfully completed and graduated from the 4th Road to Growth programme.

The graduation ceremony was marked by inspiring speeches from notable figures, encouraging the new graduates to leverage their newfound knowledge and skills.

First Lady Arya Ali, speaking at the ceremony, urged the women entrepreneurs to seize the opportunities to help grow their businesses.

She emphasized the importance of being bold and innovative, using the tools, networks, and knowledge gained from the programme to position themselves and their businesses for success.

British Ambassador to Guyana, Jane Miller, also addressed the graduates.

She highlighted the exciting economic growth in Guyana, encouraging the women to find opportunities and develop their businesses in this dynamic environment.

The Road to Growth programme, focusing on empowering women entrepreneurs through mentorship and upskilling, was conducted under the auspices of the Cherie Blair Foundation in partnership with ExxonMobil Guyana and Action Invest Caribbean Inc.

Each participant received a certificate of completion at the ceremony held on Wednesday.
