Guyana to host WI 2012 Full Bore competition

Guyana will host this year’s West Indies full bore rifle competition. Secretary of the West Indies Full Bore Association, Ryan Sampson told this newscast that plans are underway for the hosting of rifle’s biggest Caribbean event. Sampson said the event will be one of the main goals of the association for the year 2012 because it is the mega of Caribbean shooting. He added that in light of this event, the association is conducting rehabilitation works at the Guyana Defence force ranges at Timheri.
The West Indies Full Bore competition will be held later this year. The competition features the Caribbean’s best shooters in both singles and teams competition. Guyana has snared the championships four times in a row before being edged out by Jamaica last year
