Ministry of Health continues to monitor private health institutions- Chief health officer

Chief medical officer, Dr. Shamdeo Persaud says the health ministry continues to monitor private health institutions.
Dr. Persaud added that the ministry has been diligent with these checks.
The chief medical officer also stated pharmacies are also being monitored.
Dr. Persaud says after an evaluation is done the ministry informs the facilities of their short comings.
He said the management is given a period to have those issues rectified.
