Flooding in various parts of the country due to heavy rainfall has led to a decrease in students’ attendance on Monday and Tuesday.
This was revealed by chief education officer, Olato Sam, during an interview with this newscast. Mr. Sam said the main priority was getting water off the land and conducting the necessary sanitation exercises.
Several schools in region six were forced to have double sessions on Tuesday, while one has remained closed since Monday.
